Here are links to organisations that RRDPA works with or recommends as resources for information and networking The Public Administration and Civil Service Authority (PACSA), is a state organization working at central level within the organizational structure of the Prime Minister's Office.The PACSA acts as an advisory role for the government in the management and improvement of governmental organizations. It has also been assigned with the registration and control of Lao Non-Profit-Associations (NPA). Initiated by the international NGO community the Directory now includes information about 51 organizations and a total of 160 projects in Lao PDR. The goal of the online Directory is to (a) help interested users gain quick and free access to such information; (b) assist international and local NGOs, and local government authorities in their decision-making processes through providing up-to-date information on development projects and activities in the Lao PDR; and (c) facilitate further coordination of efforts and exchange of information between NGO community members to help Lao PDR achieve sustainable development and reduce poverty. The website has a bulk of information on trainings, events and news related to NGO / Development work. This website is all in Lao language. You can search the website for information disaggregated by subject (education, agriculture, legal issues etc.) or upload documents you wish to share with other organizations and professionals. Recently a "Non Profit Association" folder was introduced to the directory to establish a platform for networking and information exchange of Lao NPAs.
